Michael Matulewicz

Michael A. Matulewicz is a product of Jesuit education and has written and presented on a variety of Ignatian topics. Until very recently his professional career was in the maritime industry where he worked as a tugboat captain and ship pilot in the New York and Philadelphia Harbors respectively. His work and spiritual life was featured in a February 2025 Jesuit Conference documentary. He is also the producer and host of the “Pierogi to Prayer” podcast for his Polish Catholic Apostolate in Camden, New Jersey and is currently completing the Spiritual Exercises in Every Day Life(SEEL) spiritual director certificate program. He is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, and will soon be serving in a new role at his alma mater as the Assistant Director of Programs and Operations for the Office of Mission and Ministry. He lives in Southern New Jersey with his wife and son.
